The Muslim World League is set to host the Islam-Buddhism Summit in Cambodia on February 27, 2025, at the Sokha Phnom Penh Hotel.
According to H.E. Dr. Othsman Hassan, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Mission on Cambodian Islamic Affairs and a member of the Supreme Council of the Muslim World League, the opening ceremony will be presided over by Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia.
The summit aims to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experiences on fostering peace, tolerance, and interfaith harmony in society. Dr. Othsman Hassan highlighted that Cambodia’s success in promoting peaceful coexistence among diverse ethnic and religious communities serves as an exemplary model for other nations.
The event is expected to bring together approximately 1,000 participants, including 200 foreign delegates from 35 countries, making it a significant international gathering focused on religious and cultural dialogue.
