At the Beach Wrestling Championships in Thailand, Cambodian athletes took home seven medals, including three gold, three silver, and one bronze.
Wrestlers from Cambodia, Thailand, and Singapore competed from June 11 to 18 at Uttaradit province.
The medalists from Cambodia are from teams of under 15 and 20 years old; the U-15 team won one gold and one bronze medal, while the U-20 team won two gold and three silver medals.
The competition is an excellent opportunity for Cambodian athletes to gain new experience and build capacity in preparation for the SEA Games 2023, which Cambodia will host.
