Fly Phnom Penh is hosting Cambodia’s first-ever Dodgeball Tournament on trampolines in partnership with The Idea Consultancy, PEP Talks, and the Ministry of Social Affairs, Veterans and Youth Rehabilitation (MOSAVY).
This year’s competition boasts great prizes from community sports partners such as Decathlon, Kiri Jiu Jitsu Gym, Phnom Climb, and best of all, a whole year of bragging rights.
The competition offers free dodgeball training to beginners as well as empathy training for children, teens, and adults in a unique approach to advocate and understand the effect of short soft skills development on teamwork and performance. “Dodgeball is a new sport for Cambodia, throw in trampolines and you’ve got something crazy fun! We have prepared a free training program to help players prepare physically and mentally so they can enjoy it more”, says Fly Phnom Penh co-founder G, or Galeno Chua.
The tournament will be hosted on Sunday, November 20th, 2022 with three divisions, starting from the under 12s division (under 12 years of age obviously), teens division (13 to 18 years), and the open division (19 years and above). The entry fee is only $15 per person with special rates for NGOs and public schools, granting two entries for practice, one tournament entry, a pair of anti-slip Fly socks, and Dodgeball training. Save your spot now and grab a chance to win fantastic prizes from Decathlon for all categories. Register here to apply as a team of 5 or as an individual player.
Special thanks to Decathlon-Cambodia, Kiri Jiu Jitsu Gym, Phnom Climb, Leading with Empathy, Noggin Notes Cambodia, Cambodia Coaching Institute, Volunteer Nation, and Factory Phnom Penh for making this happen and always in huge support of safe, fun, and friendly competitions in the community.
